The first inscription dates back to 1262 AD, which describes the victory of the Chauhans and the fall of the Paramaras. The second inscription dates to 1326, and the third is from 1727. The design of the pillars of Sudha Mata Temple is similar to that of Dilwara Temple located in Mount Abu.


A nine-day fair is held here twice a year during Navratras, and there is a massive crowd of devotees. Every month from the full moon of Shukla Paksha to the thirteenth, more devotees visit the temple. Also, fairs are organized during the Hindu months of Kartik, Baishakh, and Bhadrapada.
